If you’re looking for a great bite to eat that’s super-convenient to the slopes, look no further than The Paramount Restaurant! This family-owned cafe exists to bring you the best meals, right on the mountain. It’s a great spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or apres-ski snacks. Stop by and check it out!
Start your ski day out right with a hearty breakfast from The Paramount. Check out favorites like the egg BLT, breakfast burritos, chipotle salmon, chilaquiles, biscuits and gravy, and French toast. You can even get a breakfast cocktail if you need one: they’ve got Mimosas and Bloody Marys (hey, it’s vacation!). If it’s too early for alcohol, try a fresh-squeezed orange juice, or some ginger-pineapple iced tea. Yum!
There is nothing you’ll want more after a strenuous morning of skiing than a great lunch. The Paramount in Steamboat is the place to come when you’re super hungry, yet don’t want to leave the mountain for lunch! They make it easy to get a great meal, then head back up the lift for more skiing. Choose from their delicious array of salads, filled with creative options like the BBQ Salad, which includes Memphis pulled pork, arugula, jicama, and honey mustard, or the Marinated Flank Steak Salad, with chimmichurri, queso fresco, and roasted cherry tomatoes.
Rather have something between two slices of bread? Check out the great array of sandwiches on offer! How will you ever choose between the Cubano, the Pulled Pork and Brie, the Arrachera Cheesesteak, and the Lobster Roll? There are also some great sandwich options for vegetarians, so you won’t feel limited to salads; the Roasted Veggie is a standout. And of course, there’s a three-cheese grownup version of the classic grilled cheese that everyone craves.
Kids, Hot Drinks, and More at The Paramount Restaurant
The Paramount in Steamboat is family-run, and they’re well aware that kids need their own menu options. The kids’ menu serves sandwiches with fruit, and they’ve got four options to choose from, including the classic PB&J for all you picky eaters out there.
Another MUST for a slope-side eatery is the hot drinks, and The Paramount aims to deliver! Of course they’ve got the expected hot chocolate, tea, and coffee, but they’ve also got a few specialties up their sleeve. Why not go for an Irish coffee, a Russian hot chocolate, or a caramel cider? Or if you prefer your alcohol cold, they’ve got beer, wine, and sangria as well. Stop by at happy hour, daily from 3-4 pm, to enjoy great drink specials and $6 appetizers.
