Winter Journey to Steamboat Springs

Steamboat Springs is an excellent destination for those that enjoy all that winter has to offer. From the beauty of the snow-covered slopes to the many local restaurants and shops that are available to peruse, Steamboat Springs is a wonderful option for those that are looking to experience the beauty of winter Steamboat Springs’ style. The following are some ways that you can thoroughly enjoy your trip to Steamboat Springs.

Lounge in the Hot Springs

Steamboat Springs is home to several natural springs that you can enjoy even in the middle of winter. The Old Town Hot Springs is centrally located, and it is one of the oldest hot springs in the area. Used by the Ute Indians as a gathering place when they first settled in the area, these hot springs are now a family-oriented gathering place. You’ll get to enjoy two waterslides, a fitness center, a climbing wall, and there are designated adult and kids only areas. For a more rustic experience, the Strawberry Park Hot Springs is where nature and the healing waters of the hot springs meet. Here you’ll enjoy lounging in the warm springs while taking in the beauty of aspen trees and beautiful natural rock formations.

Sightseeing

There are numerous ways to enjoy the remarkable winter scenery at Steamboat Springs. A helicopter tour is a unique and exhilarating tour option. With the help of an established tour agency, you’ll get to fly high above Steamboat Springs and enjoy aerial views of the snowy landscape. If having your feet on the ground is more appealing to you, consider an ATV or snowmobile land tour. With this tour, you’ll get to meander the snowy terrain while enjoying the thrill of snowmobiling. For those that want a leisurely tour experience, touring on foot via snowshoeing is a great option. There are several locations that are perfect for snowshoeing such as the Emerald Mountain Quarry, Steamboat Lake State Park Touring Area and the Rabbit Ears Pass Trails.
